First brewed: Bell's Pale Ale

One of the earliest Bell's beers, Pale Ale was renamed Midwestern Pale Ale in 2012. That recipe used barley from the Bell's Farm (no longer affiliated with the brewery) in Shepherd, Michigan. That label featured a painting of the barn and silo on the farm by a local, Kalamazoo artist.
